pony-express

i love getting letters particularly by pony express ;) i've been writing and receiving letters from a friend who has been at bootcamp for the the national guard. letter-writing is their only aloud form of communication to the outside world. it feels so old-world recieving these long letters about her days. i've been tempted to seal my envelopes with wax!

as if things haven't become impersonal enough with email, and texting, since nobody ever wants to even have voice to voice contact anymore. i litterally, probably only have 2 people that i talk to on the phone, because everyone else refuses to actually use their phones to talk. not that im a big phone person anyway, but the all the lengthy hours of texting could probably be summed up in a nice little 5 min conversation.
