Lake Pretty...

i just got back from a great little mini-weekend in Lake Tahoe. we stayed in a condo right on the lake, so amazing. i had so much fun playing in the water and laying in the sun (trying not to burn). this morning after i saw my leg turning bright red i knew it was time to pull out my 70 proof sun-block!(otherwise known as hell proof). however i did get a one-sided tan on my left arm and shoulder on the drive back.

the drive up was a nightmare! what should have been a 2 hour drive turned into a 4 hour drive due to a semi truck flipping over and exploding on the road. traffic was at a stand still for almost 2 hours. the temp outside was near, if not 100. cars were overheating left and right and people started pulling over and getting out.

last night, after we played in the water, we went to a dirty chinese buffet for dinner, then off to the casino's. rob and i watched christian play craps and win! stayed up till 4:30, woke up at 9, and feeling great! i think a little get-away was all i needed to get my energy in check.
